Our very compassionate staff is dedicated to each and every patient. The four dental hygienists and two dental assistants are all very experienced and extremely skilled in what they do. The staff at the front desk offer a heartfelt greeting upon your arrival and are very knowledgeable and happy to assist you with appointments, insurances and financial arrangements.
Carrie
Carrie has been in dentistry since 1994, joining Riverglen Dental (and her husband, Jeremy, there in 2013). She began as a dental assistant, then learned the front desk duties and, in 2020, became Office Manager after Michelle’s retirement. She’s spent the majority of her life in central Ohio near family, but also lived in Michigan for 9 years, returning to Ohio in 2005. She enjoys time with her 2 children, family and friends, reading and traveling.
Jean
Jean joined Riverglen Dental Group in 2014. A native of Indiana she received her Dental Assisting Certification from Indiana University at South Bend in 1980 and has worked in the dental field since then. Jean and her husband are happy to call Columbus home and when she isn’t in the office enjoying her dental family and coworkers, she loves traveling, outdoor activities, cheering for the Buckeyes and spending time with her family.
Julie
Julie joined Riverglen in February of 2020. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Ohio University in 1995 with a degree in Biological Sciences. Julie feels most blessed to have had the pleasure of being a stay-at-home mom to her 2 beautiful daughters. When not at work she enjoys walking her 2 rottweilers, running, working out, drinking red wine, and spending time with her family and friends.
Marion
Marion has been with Riverglen Dental since 1998 . She has 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She says “our staff is like a family and our patients are our friends”. Working with Dr. Hays is the best part of her job.
Gloria
Gloria has been with Riverglen since 2010. An OSU alumni, she resides in Worthington. Her interests include reading, bike riding, travelling and family time with her husband and sons.
Bailey
Bailey is a true Southern Belle from Georgia here in Ohio to hopefully attend dental school at The Ohio State University. She completed her dental assisting program at the beginning of 2020 and found her home at Riverglen Dental! She absolutely loves being involved in helping patients regain confidence in their smiles, as well as keeping them at ease during their appointment. When she isn’t working she enjoys outdoor activities, playing with her dog, and watching football with her boyfriend.
Tana
Tana grew up in Cincinnati and graduated with a BS degree from Ohio University. She has enjoyed working for Riverglen since 2018. Hobbies include traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
Heather
Heather grew up in Columbus and graduated with a bachelor’s in dental hygiene from The Ohio State University in 2000. She has worked for Riverglen Dental Group since 2001. Hobbies include reading and watching football with her husband and her 2 kids.
Wendy
Wendy grew up in Columbus. She graduated from The Ohio State University dental hygiene program in 1981, and received her bachelor’s degree in education in 1983. She has been with Riverglen Dental Group ever since. Her hobbies are swimming, walking and watching baseball.
Lisa
Lisa grew up in Northeastern Ohio and graduated from Youngstown State University. She moved to Southern California in 1984 and practiced there for 10 years. When all the sun, sand and traffic got to be too much, she relocated to Central Ohio. She has resided in the Columbus area since 1994. Lisa lives near Blendon Woods Park and enjoys reading, cooking and planning craft projects she never gets around to doing.
Jeremy
Jeremy received his B.A. and M.A. degree from New Mexico State, A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene from Columbus State and MPH from Ohio State. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years and joined Riverglen in 2007. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, gardening, running, working out and collecting vinyl records.
